Through the star of this exhibition, the Sloth, visitors will learn that no single trait defines success in nature, only how well an organism fits its environment. We reframe classic ideas of “survival of the fittest” by showing how fitness is context-dependent, animal characteristics come with costs and benefits, and success in nature is about balance, not extremes.
